Do your meals contain nuts?

All our meals are nut-free with the exception of our Vegan Butter Chicken which contains Almonds.

 Are Ahimsa meals delivered fresh or frozen?

Our meals are delivered to you frozen and stay perfect in your freezer for 6+ months! Perfect for stocking up!

Will my meals remain frozen during transit?

Our meals are packaged carefully with an insulated liner to ensure that your meals stay frozen from the moment they leave our facility until they are in your hands. Our high-quality insulated liners will ensure our meals are delivered to you safe and frozen. ---end-item--How long will the meals last if I store them in the fridge?

Do meals need to be thawed prior to reheating?

NOPE! Our meals are ready to pop in the oven or microwave and enjoy! Follow the reheat instructions on the package. However, if you are reheating a defrosted meal, it will require less time to reheat.

Don't want to reheat in an oven or microwave?

    1. Peel the plastic off the tray and add your #AhimsaVeganFoods frozen meal to a saucepan on medium heat.
    2. Add 2-4 tbsp of water (per tray) to the pan, cover and let defrost and reheat for 10-15 minutes, depending on your stove top.
    3. Mix occasionally and adjust heat as needed!
    4. ENJOY!!! 😋

How spicy are your meals?

For spice lovers we recommend our Vegan Thai Green Curry and Vegan Chick'n Rendang. Prefer milder meals? We recommend our Vegan Butter Chick'n, Vegan Palak Paneer & Vegan Indian Korma. All super delicious without compromising on any flavour!
